New Acquisition - Philco 116B
#1

I just picked up a Philco 116B on the cheap this week along with an excellent, all original, and complete Crosely D25-GN dashboard radio. The "Big Mac Daddy" 116B is in very good condition and is pictured below. Of course I will have to replace that decorative grill cloth and the speaker could us a re-cone.
I have a question for the Philco experts... this 116B is missing the back two feet in that it "leans back" on the front two feet. I have not looked closely yet, but there appears to be two metal tubes still sticking out from the placement of the feet which I assume stuck through the missing back wood? Can you guys elaborate...?
Thanks,
Britt Abbott

Hello, nice find. The 116B is an excellent radio!

The tubes are part of the cushion assemblies that the chassis screws go through.

Contact Steve Davis, who is a member of the forum, and see if he could make the back feet for you. His workmanship is superior!
