Phorum How-To #4: How Can I Change My Password?
#1

It's quite simple, really. Here's how:

(NOTE: From this lesson forward it is assumed that you know how to reach your User Control Panel or User CP.)

Go to your User CP:

Look in the Menu column at left for the Change Password link.

Click (tap) the Change Password link under Your Profile.

This takes you to another page:

Enter your current password in the "Current Password" box.

Now enter the new password you wish to use in the "New Password" box.

Enter the same, new password again in the "Confirm Password" box.

Now click (tap) the "Update Password" button.

That's it! Your Phorum account now has a new password. You will have to use your new password the next time you log in to the Phorum.

Be sure to write this down someplace safe, where you will not lose it! Phorum management is not able to retrieve passwords for you!
