Phorum How-To #12: Use Lite (Archive) Mode
#1

NOTE: The following option is not recommended to implement.

Are you curious about that red button with the file box icon at the bottom of Phorum pages, labeled Lite (Archive) Mode?

If for some reason you do not like the look of the Phorum, you can click or tap the Lite (Archive) Mode button to switch to a stripped-down Phorum without most of the bells and whistles.

Clicking or tapping the Lite (Archive) Mode button will make the Phorum home page look like this:

WARNING: Lite Mode is not mobile-friendly! If you do this on your home computer and then sign into the Phorum with your smartphone, the Phorum will no longer be mobile-friendly to you.

Now, if you would rather go back to the Phorum's standard appearance, just look at the top for one of two links - "Full Version: The PHILCO Phorum" or the text "You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting."

Click the link labeled The PHILCO Phorum or View the full version as shown above, to be returned to the normal Phorum formatting.
