41-95 cap
#1

This arrived the same day as the 611B but survived the trip. USPS on this one versus UPS made a difference?

When I removed the chassis there was a 0.25 Philco cap in there. It was connected to ground and to one of the tubes. According to the schematic I have there is no such cap there. There was only one 0.05 cap present and the schematic calls for two. Was this a change Philco made post production or is the wrong size cap there?
thanks

You're correct Chris - there is no part at 0.25 uF. in the 41-95. Since the surviving end is connected to ground, the only two caps it could be are #11 and #12. Both are 0.05 uF @200V. as the Parts List shows.

The only other caps to ground are #10, the electrolytic on the B+ line and $8 a mica cap. The unlabeld cap on the 2nd. IFT shown in the schematic is internal to the IF can and is probably a mica as well.

Just use the schematic to check the connections to these two caps to discover which it is.
