I need your help guys
#1

I recently picked up a 38-3 console. On the console the ring that holds the station tabs, how would I get that ring off? When looking at the download of the 38-116 it says to "remove the narrow copper band which extends around the circle to hold the station call labels in place" From what I see the band does not come off, I tried but I do not want to bend the copper band because it is so fragile and will bend easy. The reason I want to take this off is because the call station letter seem to have slipped out of their slots. If anyone has tried this "at home" please give me some insight. And if you also know of a place where you can get replacement tabs also. Thanks as always!

The three screws are under the tuning knob. Remove the knob and you will see them.

Here is the link for some tabs that might work.
