Hmm, I meant to ask. Is the speaker in that unit an Electro-Dynamic type? It doesn't look like the usual AK high impedance design I've seen in some of these consoles over the years. Well, in pictures.

Yes, it is an electro-dynamic speaker.

Should sound good them. I pulled up some schematics and it mentions a small model 53 console using this speaker, so that means the radio is set up for it. Might not be huge sound, but push-pull 71s sound pretty good when the unit is set up right.
