Four tube Philco console?
#1

Did Philco ever make a console version of one of their four tube sets like the 37-84? For some reason I keep picture in my mind that I once saw a Philco console with a similar dial set-up to my 37-84. Could be my mind is playing tricks on me though. Icon_crazy

You may be thinking of the 37-33F, which only has two knobs and a dial like a 37-84, but is battery operated. There is also the 37-33B cathedral, which looks identical to a 37-84 but, again, is battery operated.

The 37-33 is a good little battery set. I have it in a BG cab. Built a p/s a few year ago. It uses something like a 1E7 as the audio output it's a dual power pentode wired in p/p and real rattle the 8" spker.

That's what I recall seeing! Didn't think Ohio's gloomy weather had totally rotted my brain yet. Good reference of the dial on the 37-33B above it. I THINK that is the type dial I need for my 37-84.

No matter where you go, there you are.
