philco 37-600 37-602

hi guys and Brenda
I have a 37-600 and bought what was to be another for parts but tubes are deferent has 25a6g and 25z6g so looking seams to be a 37-602 ? why people take stickers of ill never under stand cabinets look same but chassis are very different http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel...013206.pdf

think ill redo both now still looking for darn knobs question which performs better ?

The '600 is like the 80 and 84 a superhet w/a regen detector. The 602 is very different as it is a full superhet. The '602 is the better of the two. The model 600 and 602 use the older large pin tubes. The 37-600 and 37- 602 use the newer octal tubes and share the same cabinet. Knobs are very hard to come by for these sets. There different from all the other Philco knobs.
