Does anyone have any info they could share?

Hi there.

I'm new to the forum so I'm hoping I'm following protocol.

I inherited an old Philco console Radio with a turntable several years ago. The radio was made in the early 50's in Toronto Canada. The model number on the cabinet is 730 which also matches the chassis number on the radio. On the cabinet it says "Model No." and on the metal chassis it says "Chassis No.". Anyhow.. I have searched high and low and cannot find a thing about this unit on the net. I've restored the cabinet but it just won't be right if I can't restore the radio.

I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Hello and welcome.

I'm afraid I can't help you, since I have very little info on Canadian Philco radios. The Canadian models began to use different model numbers from their US counterparts in 1939, and some Canadian Philcos are quite different than USA models.

So you will need info from someone in Canada, or someone who has Canadian Philco info.
