Hopefully, I've put this on the correct forum. I saw this on Facebook and wondered if anyone had ever seen one of these. I'm guessing it's from the 60s or late 50s. If memory serves "space age" gadgets predate the actual space race, right? I would love to see one. Some of these old novelties are pretty funny. I can imagine trying to chat up a young lady while wearing that hat.

Yes I've seen a similar one on the cover of a magazine. I think it was Radio TV from about 1957.

$416?!!!! I'd love to have one for 5? But I'm pretty sure I could simulate the circuit on my own with helmet for less than $416.
