How to glue in new speaker cloth?
#1

I have two cabinets to glue new speaker cloth into now.  My Philco 39-17 and my Airline 62-123 console.   Having not done this in forever, I'd like to not make mistakes.  Is there a thread on the best way to do this yet, including which way to adhere first and stretching it tight, etc..  I have the 3M Super 77 spray glue and new cloth for each.  Any help is appreciated!  Thanks in advance!

Mike,
Thanks for the link.

Does anyone know the best way to tone down the newness on cloth that's going in an unrestored cabinet? There are some suggestions in that link, but I'm curious what method has worked best?

I seem to recall reading about someone spraying toning lacquer on the cloth to change its color but I can't locate it.
