40-180?
#1

I am the proud owner of a 40-155 with a 40-180 chassis inside. I know next to nothing about this radio. Where may I find information regarding how the various dials and buttons work, (all the labels are long gone). So far I have tested all the tubes and found out if I press the red button on the far right, I can use the tuner and actually find a couple of stations. I am sure I could do better if I knew what all the settings were. Thanks.

Ok, it took a bit of hunting, but I found descriptions of what the functions are for the buttons and dials on the 40-180. I really appreciate the information presented here, Thanks.

Sorry, I somehow managed to miss your original post. Did you find the functions for all of the buttons and knobs? If so, you now know that the far right pushbutton must be pushed in for manual tuning.
