My son gifted (?) me with this little ($12) beauty. It's a 1977 Magnavox model 6446 plastic and formica stereo console complete with 8-track. It makes me cringe to think how low Magnavox had sunk in less than 10 years. I can't find specs for it but figure it's about 15wpc. It plays well enough so it's relegated to the tractor shed downstairs. The 8 track cartridge is Larry Ferrari. Yeeps!

Nice gift ! This is a real period piece. I doubt that many have survived. While to us it seems a demonstration of how far things had deteriorated by the late 1960s, early 1970s, someday our grandchildren will look back at it nostalgically. One nice thing about it, it will play 78 records as well as 33 and 45 vinyls. Enjoy it.

Nah, I have a lot better stuff to enjoy including a 1967 Maggy stereo console, a 1968 Fisher stereo console, and a 1958 Fisher hi-fi console. This one is a garage radio.
