Philco Radio and Phonograph
#1

I bought this Philco radio and phonograph at an auction and have looked everywhere but can't seem to find any info on it. I would like to know when it was made. The model # is 51-1731. It has a beautiful cabinet but needs a little work on the radio and phono. I am looking to restore it. Can anyone out there help me?

Hello and welcome!

The 51-1731 is a 1951 model, and would have been made sometime between June 1950 and April 1951.

There are many individuals and businesses who restore radios and phonographs. A Google search should turn up several. I usually send people seeking phonograph repair to West-Tech Services (they also restore radios). I used to restore radios but I'm not taking anything in at present due to my being in college (at age 50).
