Try toothpaste.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got!

Hi,

54-6123 is not a valid Philco model number. Please check again. The model number should be on the tube layout diagram, or rubber-stamped on the chassis - unless this one uses a printed circuit board.

Photos would be helpful in identifying the set.

Sorry, my production figure information only goes through the 1948 model year. Besides, we still have not determined the correct model number. But with a circuit board, that would date it to around 1955-56 or later, I think...somewhere in there. I don't remember right now which year Philco began making the printed circuit boards for their home radios.
