Philco Radio
#1

I have a Philco Model 46131 Radio it is not in to good condition I was wondering how I can find out how old it is and were can I see about restoring it. I found some other numbers on it and don't know what they mean maybe someone can help. On the back there is a number stenciled in the metal 80 205 09 also I found this number T23548 and I found this part no. 10613 A. Can anyone help?

Well, 46-131 should be a 1946 model. I am not sure of any of the other numbers, however. Here is a website link which hs the Rider pages on it:http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel/589/M0013589.pdf It is on the Nostalgia Air website. (Rider is an aftermarket schematic supplier of the period)

Of course this isn't much help, but there will be some other responses to help you!
Enjoy!

Might this be the radio in question?

I'm not sure who might be able to help in it's restoration, we'd need to know your location to help with that. However, I hope this identifies it for you.
