Philco 91 label questions.
#1

Hey everyone,
I have what I believe to be a late production model 91 cathedral. It doesn't have the single unit tube shield, but instead it has individual cylindrical shields for each tube. Also it appears that the original gold foil Philco Model No. label was located on the rear of the chassis. Mine is missing but there is a clean area there that measures approx. 1 3/8 by 2 3/8 inches.
My question is- would this label look similiar to the picture of the second style label located in the ID guide on the knowledge base page of this site? Also if anyone has a similiar 91 with this type of label, how does it read? Any info is greatly appreciated. I've got some one who is trying to make me a set of repro labels. Thanks!

I think the late version 91 uses the same basic label as shown in the ID Guide, the second label as you stated. Of course it will read "CHASSIS TYPE 91." I would have to look at my (late version) 91D to confirm the code number, but I believe it should be 126. AC Volts 115, Cycles 50-60, Watts 90.

There is a guy on epay selling repro labels set. Pretty sure he has ones for the 91. He doesn't have them for the 21.

Hey Terry,
He is the guy who is making up a set for me. He didn't have a set for the 91 either, but is making one up for me custom and then they will added to his listing. Thanks!

Thank you Ron, that's kind of what I figured, just wasn't sure of the wattage. I was in contact with the guy making the labels and we should have all the info now!
