Philco 89 Dial Cord Question?
#1

I'm done with that 90 and I'm looking over a model 89 code 121. I pulled the tuning condenser and removed the dial cord. It's pretty frayed. This cord thickness is .060". Is this heavy cord available anywhere or can I use a .040" cord?

I'm sure I'll have more questions on this 89 as I go along. I found some good pictures and I see how the original filter cap cans were installed. If I can't find this style of clamp anywhere I have a couple of ideas for making them. Someone has really chopped this set up. Gonna have some fun with this one. If anyone has an 89 and could supply me with the diameter and length of the original filter cap cans this would be great. In the mean time I'm searching Epay.

Thanks,
Pepper
