Philco 116x
#1

I am now the proud owner of a Philco 116x that was listed for sale on craigslist. Picked it up on Wednesday, it was only 10 miles from home and it was very nice meeting the seller who has a very nice collection of radios. Anyway, I replaced the filter caps and re-stuffed about half of the bakelite condenser blocks and brought it up slowly on the variac and it plays very nice already, even the shadow meter is working. Now to finish the recap and go through the resistors. I wanted to thank Ron, Terry, Jerry, and TA Forbes for there comments or I would have let it go.
Best regards, Paul
