Hi Everyone,
We have recently acquired from my mother in-law's estate a Philco 201 code 121. It seems to be in fairly good condition having been store for the last 20+ years. There are a few scratches on the cabinet , but over all the finish seems reasonable good. There is also a tear in speaker grill , but is otherwise in good shape. I have examined the capacitors and transformers, all which seem to be in good shape as well. Both AM and shortwave bands work and it also has a GE phonograph pre-amp mounted in side which also seems to work. I am looking for any information this group might be able to provide regarding this model and the history of this model.
Thanks in Advance.
Jeff
