Instant Philco Service "library"
#1

Recently I came across Philco RMS Yearbooks, containing all of the schematics for Philco home and auto radios for the years 1939, 1940, 1941, and 1942. If that weren't enough, I then found the yearbook for the 1946-47 models, as well as a genuine Philco 3-ring binder containing the schematics for all of the 1948-49 models. I was one happy camper to obtain this useful service material!

Well you lucky dog you.....where do people "come across" such things and why don't I come across those?
That is, of course there is the eBay and such but.....

The RMS manuals are an outstanding resource for the respective model years. I also have the 39-42 manuals and have referred to them often!

I actually found these at a garage sale of all places! VERY cheaply, I might add.

It looks like there's another similar Philco service binder like the one I recently found now available on eBay for those interested:
