38-7 veneer help
#1

I recently bought a table model 38-7 to complement the console I have and it is missing some sections of veneer. The inlaid bands are fine so I thought that patching this might be an option. Since I've never done this before, are similar pieces of veneer available at Lowes etc, or am I better off in trying to find someone with a basket case cabinet who may want to sell it? Hope I didn't bite off more than I can chew with this one.

Hi Tony

You won't find good veneer at Lowe's. Try Constantine's or Van Dyke online, or you might check with a Woodcraft store in your area.
