Philco with Phono input
#1

Sometime in the 1950's I was given what I think was a Philco radio that had an RCA phono jack on the side. This was connected to a Webcor 78 changer, which I still have. The radio is since long gone, but as I remember, it was in a vertical cream color plastic case and had a carry handle.
I have not been able to find any reference to this radio, and it may not have been a Philco. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Thom

You might want to check the pictures in the Philco Gallery to see if you recognize your radio (it is organized by years):

http://www.philcoradio.com/gallery/

If you don't see it there and it might be a different brand you can try combing through Radio Attic's archives:

Good luck!

It sounds to me like the set you remember was retrofitted with an RCA jack, even with companies that included a phone input it was not typical to add it through the side of the cabinet, usually through the back.
