My first vintage TV!

It's not a Philco, but I'm more than happy with it. It's a 1955 Zenith 19R22. I got it yesterday from someone on CL for only $30. Read the whole story here.

Congratulations and beware - it can quickly lead to collecting more TVs!
I found the link lead to an interesting read of how he ended up with the TV and opinions on it's worth and restorability.

I'm obviously new to vintage TV's and I'll probably have few questions. What do you all know about deflection yokes? The one on my Zenith is messed up, and I don't know what to look for.

That's very typical because the type of plastic they used for the yoke housing disintegrates over time. It's very likely fine electrically. The back part that has detached have two magnetic centering rings on it. I've seen guys use epoxy or silicone to glue it back on and just electrical tape to hold it in place.

The picture tube was replaced at some point with a Raytheon 21AUP4A.
