Greetings -
Have a Philco 38-35 in my pile that I've been looking to get going. The speaker wires are broken. That is, the 2 wires coming out of the audio transformer are disconnected (not the ones going to the speaker), as well any wires going to the connector plug on the speaker. I assume that there should be a connection here? Also, the 2 wires coming out of the connector plug are disconected. Do these go to the chassis? There does not appear to be a field coil in this speaker, It is a combo 6vdc/115 vac power supply. How do I ensure that the 115 volt piece works? Does the vibrator need to be functioning for this part to work?
