Changing resistor values/lost B+
#1

Hey, guys.  For all who read my thread about changing resistor values in the Philco restoration forum which morphed into a question of lost B+, the problem turned out to be a short in the 6J8 oscillator/converter tube.  BTW this is a Silvertone 6130 chassis which is why I moved this over here.  Tube went bad while it was sitting out in the cold in my outside shop.  Won't drag through all the details of it, but a new tube seems to have restored things to normal.  Thanks again for the responses.  Ed
