40-155 Grille Cloth
#1

My dad found a decent looking 40-155 (at lest from the pictures he texted me, I have yet to see it) at a car show this weekend.  So I had him pick it up for me.  Someone clearly replaced the grille cloth with a rather ugly ivory.beige pattern.  From looking at various pictures on the web, I believe this is the original cloth, as it appears on several different pictures:

From what I can tell, this looks to be a diamond pattern maybe?  Or possibly a small herringbone?  Anyone know for sure?  Looking at RD and Richmond, I don't see anything that is a particularly close match (unless it is possibly a small herringbone).

Assuming there is no exact match, I'm open to opinions on what might look good here.  I know Philco used something similar to GRC-14 form RD on 39 models like this.  That might not look too bad. But I have a 39-30 already, so I'm leaning towards something that would be a little different from it.

Thanks!
