I have a Philco 48-1263 and am looking for service notes on the record changer in that set. I need to know the lubrication points. I'm betting the changer has not been lubed since Ike was in the White House.

Hi Joe,
Chuck S. over at the Philco Repair Bench, will have the record player service data. Did that set use the D10 changer? If so, there is a whole booklet on it.
I wouldnt play it without taking it apart first and cleaning the old hardened grease off of all shafts etc. Alot of them used a plastic gear in the eject mode, that if everything is stiff, usually thats the part that will get stripped when you try and play it.

Yes, a D-10. He already got it over in ARF.

Ok - so I'm a little slow - I blame it on the temperature here in sunny WI - currently at 4 degrees!

I'm in sunny (3deg.) Evanston - on your doorstep, geographically speaking... 8)
