Hello all -
Recently acquired what I thought was a 46-1209, but stamped on the chassis bigger than life is "Model 46-1230". I never knew such a model existed. It has the cabinet of a 1209, a phono like the 1209, three bands (broadcast, pushbutton, and short wave) like the 1209, and the identical tube lineup as the 1209. It does not have FM, or any semblance of an FM dipole antenna like the 47-1230, but it has that strange part number like a 47-1230.
There are some production run numbers stamped on the chassis if that offers a clue: 02 274 04.
Anybody care to guess what I have here? I plan on restoring it, it doesn't look to be in bad shape. In terms of which schematic to follow, anybody have any input there as well?
Personally I think I have some permutation of a 46-1209, only with an oddball model number. I have the 46-1209 schematic from Chuck, but I thought I would check with the experts before digging in. Your thoughts?
