I finally finished my PT-93!
Restored chassis with every cap removed at terminals and replaced with tubing. Not much harder and loos a lot better and safer.
Made a new dial cover mold and dial cover. Cleaned the radio cabinet with GoJo and done!
I really like the styling of it.

Some day, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do a service for me. But until that day, accept this justice as a gift

It has a handle so send it to Sam, he can use it as a portable with a 100' extension cord
Seriously, that is a nice looking radio. Now don't be getting the big head just cause you finally learnt how to use tubing

Darn it he has all the luck!
When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.

Now I think I've got!

This is an older post but It played real well. Even after I recapped it,
It is on a shelf in the Library now and I have not played it in months..
I do like to look at it though... I should pull it down and play it for a while instead of the PT-69
