41-604P cabinet
#1

Bought this 41-604P a few weeks ago. Finish was in 'not bad' shape, so I cleaned it and applied Howard's restor-a-finish and Howard's wax n'feed. Also, made a dial cover following instructions I found on the Phorum.

Thats great!
I love making dial covers for myself. Im cheap so saving $20.00 each is worth my time usually.
A harder mold like a Zenith boomerang dial is worth buying, lol...

Looks fantastic.

Regarding the grille cloth. I've seen the options on radiodaze and RichmondDesigns; however, I have been wondering about the possibility of cleaning and keeping the original. It doesn't have any holes; but the individual strands are not exactly tightly bound (really more of a basket weave).

Any thoughts on trying to clean the original grille cloth?
