RCA 280
#1

Hi Guys
I just picked up a nice RC 280 but it has a couple different styles of knobs on it and I was wondering if anyone knows what the correct original knobs look like. If you have a picture that would be great.

Not the best picture, but it does show the knobs pretty clearly, especially if you enlarge the view.

Thanks for the pic but not enough resolution to enlarge.

Actually, if you copy/paste that image into a decent viewer, like IRfanview,  and enlarge it, although the resolution is not high enough to see them really clearly, you will see the original knobs were a rosette type. These from Radio Daze are the closest match I could find:

RCA made the chassis for the GE K-126.  It is the same chassis as the RCA 280 so the knobs may be the same.  Below is a decent picture of a GE K-126:

If it uses the same knobs, and I think it does, those knobs Mike linked to look pretty close.

Thanks for all the help. Two of the knobs are the correct ones so I will have to look out for the others.

Try these two sources Greg (include pictures):

Thanks John, I will give them a try.
