Need help with Phono hookup.
#1

I’m trying to hookup the phonograph on my Philco 26J. All the wires were cut when I bought it. In the chassis was the remnant of a cable that had been cut. It consisted of 4 wires (Black, White, Green, and Yellow) in a cotton sleeve with a braided ground strap woven into the sleeve. After recapping and a few other repairs, the radio would not work until I found matching clipped wires on the Radio/Phono switch and connected them by matching them up with the wires in the chassis and switching it to Radio. I used a red wire to replace the braided ground woven into the sleeve.
The toning arm wires were also cut and there is a capacitor block and resistor mounted inside the cabinet with the wires cut. I found a schematic with the same phonograph but a different radio (Philco 23X). http://www.nostalgiaair.org/PagesByModel...013169.pdf. I know the information I need is here but I can’t read it. I need to know where the toning arm wires go and where the cap and resistor hookup.
