 Is a Zenith top model 5-S-119 Cabinet with 6-S-330 Chassis some kind of home made configuration?

Yes, one is a 5 tube chassis and the other a 6 tube. Plus there are other cosmetic differences if you do a search for each.

Thanks John, it does seem to be two pieces that someone put together (model 5-S-119 Cabinet with 6-S-330 Chassis) and not something from the factory.

I've been following the one you're referring to on a Canadian Auction site. A bit of a Frankenradio. Too bad that the correct speaker and plug are missing and the hand written band position markings may be difficult to remove. I think this could be a great project but for me, the current high bid is too much for this one.
