I finally got around to beginning work on station tab replicas for my 38-2, 37-116 and yet to be restored 37-690.
Here's the first attempt. I used the material from an old band "mask" for the plastic and doctored up a scan of a the original, also shown.
I think I still want to coat it with lacquer, polyurethane, or something. I tried to leave a gap around the decal to allow the coating to cover the decal and adjacent plastic. Didn't do so well on the top.
This was very time consuming. I need to figure out how to streamline it. Each radio has, like, 20 of them.
For the call letters I need to find a sufficiently similar font.

Can't think of anything witty.
