SX-43 reception switch
#1

This is going to be fun. This SX-43 is recapped and works, but the reception switch is mechanically shot. I’ve cleaned it. If I wiggle it just right it I get audio.

I’ve sourced a replacement switch but it will be a task to rewire it. I’m taking lots of pictures, plan to label each wire. I’m hoping I can just leave the switch in place and rewire each terminal one by one. Unwiring the entire switch first seems a recipe for disaster.

Good luck on the switched. Best to work on when no one is home turn off your cell phone and have at it. Looking forward to pictures of the new switch installed. David
