for the future:

In order to change the name of teh topic,

1. Go to the very first post.
2. Hit "Edit".
3. From drop-down choose "Full edit".
4. In the "Subject" you will see the existing thread name: type your new name for the thread in it.
5. Press "Save".

This is it.
