New to me Predictas
#1

Well guys, after picking up the 1957 Golden D and 1960 Bristol sets I posted about a while back I finally found my bucket list Predicta after a long search. I drove from Western Mass to Terra Haute Indiana to pick up this unit, a 1959 Predicta Full Dress. A couple weeks later someone local contacted me and I picked up his 1960 Predicta Miss America. So... now I have four to restore along with another set soon and some radios. Work was slowed due to a flood in our basement, but once the repairs are completed I'll be back to the restos. Stay tuned

Pretty nice looking sets! Terre Haute isn't far from my place. I hope you can get them working and enjoy them!

If I could find the place called "Somewhere", I could find "Anything" Icon_confused

Greats scores! Both rare and collectable sets.

Nice 111 823 031A, sold VW parts back in the 70's. I've got a Siesta around somewhere that needs a fair amount of work.

When my pals were reading comic books
I was down in the basement in my dad's
workshop. Perusing his Sam's Photofoacts
Vol 1-50 admiring the old set and trying to
figure out what all those squiggly meant.
Circa 1966
Now I think I've got it!

Terry I have SO many classic VW parts in my garage, lots of later fuel injection parts. I just sold a '75 bug to a guy in Texas... so while my major basement renovation is going on, the Philcos are taking up that space. I'm planning on getting rid of the VW stuff. I just don't have the time, space or budget to have a couple cars that can't be used daily

Too many irons in the fire for sure. I decided that our home projects need to be a priority as I don't want to be trying to complete them after I turn 65 in ten years. I hadn't been in this hobby for years, and am having a blast re learning everything
