37-116 value??
#1

I have a philco model 37-116 that is in very good condition. Could anyone tell me what it is worth and how I would find a buyer.

We don't normally give appraisals without photos, one person's idea of very good condition can be very different from someone else. There is also the factor of the electrical condition of the set, unrestored is one thing, electrically restored is another, butchered with parts missing or incorrect parts is another.

Hi and welcome!

As Arran mentioned, photos would be very helpful.

There were two versions of the 37-116 - one with the Automatic Tuning mechanism (a large apparatus below the dial, vaguely resembling a telephone dial) and one without. The one without was called the "Standard" and the one with Automatic Tuning was called the "De Luxe."

We'll need to know where the radio is located, also. Don't post a street address or a phone number, just a city and state is sufficient.
