: Anyone have an ad/photo/lit that shows a side cowl mounted antenna offered in 1933 or earlier.
Yrs back i restored a 1933 Chry. Phaeton that had 2 factory holes in the bodies structural wood that would be perfect for an antenna mount. At the time i talked to another guy restoring the same car and his had the same 2 holes. I know the closed cars had the roof/chicken wire antenna and there were the under running board but did some of the open cars get a side cowl.
