Looking for correct speaker for 46-1201
#1

Hi all-
I never knew this was here until today! I have been restoring a 46-1201 "Bing Crosby" on and off for a while, and I think I got it going well with new caps and a couple resistors.

My problem is that the speaker must have been replaced a long time ago with something else (spliced wires that do not match as well as the actual mounting screws). It works OK, but I know it should sound better at lower volumes. Does anyone have a working 5 wire speaker to sell from that era?

thanks
Chris

Hi,

The Philco part number for the electro-dynamic speaker in your radio-phono is 36-1587. You might try PlayThings of Past, Gary Schneider's website for used parts: http://www.oldradioparts.com

Good luck Icon_smile

Chuck
