philco 90 bakelite caps

in the philco 90 ( with 1 type 47 tube ) the part 28 and 23 bakelite caps have three terminals besides the ground is there two or three caps in these and how is it wired ? any help would be appreciated

Hello! Check the tech-section of this website ( Philco Repair Bench- Philco part values ) and click on bakelite condenser data provided there. You will need the orig part # located on the side of your condenser to match up with the diagrams provided. The diagrams will provide the info you are seeking. i did see it listed with the number 3903 it did not have the letter m the schematic had i guess it is not wired at all to the screw terminal i saw the number 23 0nly once on the schematic i guess though it contains two capacitors

ckc, part #s 23 &28 are 3903M and 3903P respectively. Each has one .01mfd, 600V cap. 3903M has cap between terminals 4-8 and 3903P has cap between terminals 2-7. Neither cap is grounded, they are by-pass caps. PL
