37-116 lamp socket
#1

Hey guys,

question to those who know the part number or where to order.

The 37-116 I have has 5 sockets for dial lighting and 4 of those are the "flattened" type mounted on two sides of the dial assy frame, that is they have the "horn" part of the socket going around the lamp "flattened" and not round.
The 5th one is the round type (probably goes on top of the assy) and it is the one that is damaged.

Q: what is the part number, and where do I get it? I cannot see it listed in Rider.
Or maybe someone has it - I would buy from you then.

I think this is the same type right over the dial.

How is it damaged? If you can still put a bulb in it, Ron's light rebuilding trick works great, costs almost nothing, and lasts a long time.

It is damaged in such a way that the spring is not there anymore.

But I was buying bunch of stuff from Oldradioparts and the socket (after I found the chassis online to show it to the guy - did not know the type) happened to be 78 cents....guess what I did. Icon_smile

PS. Came with a bulb too!
