38-93 Toner Colors
#1

Hello,

Does anyone happen to know what the color combo should be for this 38-93 Tombstone?
The base looks to be quite a bit darker than the rest but it’s hard to tell for sure.  And the body appears to be darker than the front but not as dark as the base. And then the stripes are lighter than everything.
Any information or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi. It looks like you could use Mohawk medium walnut on the sides and front and Mohawk extra dark on the bottom trim. Here is a picture. Of course pictures off of web sites don't mean it is the correct color. If not, someone that owns one might know the exact color combo. Good luck.

You will be happy with that set, it has nice tone, a good speaker, for 5 tube set it has great sound, could be more sensitive but it plays well. Mine is pictured here, a bit dinged, and not original dial but it has groen on me.

Good luck with it. Mine is original as far as I can tell, it only got a bit of Howards, I did nothing but clean up the case, hope that may hel with your colors.

Thanks a lot guys, that's exactly what I was looking for.

I'm glad to hear that you're pleased with the sound of your radio. Mine belonged to my Grandmother so it's been in the family for a looooong time, I can't wait to hear it.
Thanks again.
