UGH...two of the three coils missing their shield cans...the four-bulb dial lamp assembly missing...shadowmeter gone...no escutcheon...almost all tube shields missing and the on that is there is incorrect...yes, this is a parts set or a very challenging restore that will require parts from another set to make it complete.

Frankly, given the overall condition of this set, $75 might be too generous.

I would hold out for a better one that is complete.

Thanks Ron for the heads up.

If it works works, that is sings, may be worth it if you think of parting out, though there are also shipping costs that need to be accounted for.
But restoring for sale.....the missing parts and work involved might not be recovered.

People who do not drink, do not smoke, do not eat red meat will one day feel really stupid lying there and dying from nothing.

Thanks for your reply morzh, im beginning to really see the light on trying to making any money on antique radios. considering just giving up on making some sort of profit and just do it as hobby to past the time away while the world destroys it self . Theres really no market for high quality restorations on these radios.

There is. But. Many hurdles. Have to build clientel. Develop business. Etc.
Every once in a while stints won't work.

If gotten cheaply the cabinet is worth getting and installing another 4-band model 16 chassis. The chassis are more common than the shouldered tombstone cabinet.
