15x grill cloth
#1

WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD REPLACEMENT CLOTH FOR 15X. ? Or should I say what does original look like ? Maybe I can find something close. I need a good picture of what I should look like when new. Thanks Fred Taylor. Do you guys think maybe radio daze new pattern for 70-90 cathedral would work ? Icon_think

If it's the same as the 15DX, it looks like this.  https://flic.kr/p/bRtBux

Sort of black with copper and gold metallic threads.

The original pattern was never accurately reproduced.

John O. at the now-defunct Radio Grille Cloth Headquarters came fairly close with his pattern #40. Of course that does you no good now since it is no longer available!

The 70/90 pattern, such as Kenny Richmond's Whiskey Rayon, would work well as a substitute.

Thanks Ron, I went ahead and use the Radio Daze cloth for the 70 and 90 Philco cathedral radios. I had a full piece on hand and will do until something else better comes along
