My latest find
#1

I hope I got this in the right section.. here is my latest Philco. It is a model 37 3650 console.. The cabinet is in good condition  but I always have a challenge with those Bakelite blocks. It will be a winter project.  I will be looking for the small outer tuning knob and one of the other knobs.

Nice find there. I like the looks of the 1937 Philco consoles. Just don't like the unitized chassis..

No matter where you go, there you are.

Nice radio, and seems in nice shape for restoring. I looked at the schematic and it looks like a really fine set. With a stage of TRF before the mixer it is going to have good sensitivity and selectivity. Great find ! I look forward to following your progress.

Sweet! That's radio is very CLEAN! Most of the ones I find are full of dust and bugs. Good score!

I can't be sure from your photo, but I think you can find repro knobs to match at Renovate Radios.

A nice example of an excellent Philco 8-tube set.
