Spring Cleaning/Listening
#1

Had a couple of free hours to rummage in the cellar today. Dusting, listening, arranging and paying some attention to some sets that have not been getting a lot of play. Managed to use some Novus 2 that I think may have gone bad and made a splotch on one of the bakelites! Ugh Icon_sad.

Anyway.....

Emerson 322, Fine player and nice dial, even with a ballast it sounds better than I expected, ballast=cheaper set, sometimes I guess.

Trutone D905, Cabinet by Fred Taylor, I splurged. Also has a ballast but good size speaker, nice sound.

Silvertone 6051, very 40's looking IMHO. 6 tubes, pretty good player.

2 Zeniths, R723 and a relative whose model# escapes me now......R723 is one of my faves.

I will have to rotate upstairs soon.

What else is down here.

You got some nice table radios there Paul. Always a good idea to power them up every so often.
I had my Atwater kent model 37 playing last week, been awhile.

Yeah Paul........Move them around and give them all a chance to be listened too. Thats what I do.
