Philco Decals
#1

Quick question to you cabinet refinshers out there: When you put the Philco decal (From Radio Daze) on the refinshed cabinet, do you put the decal on before or after the final laouquer finish. Thanks in advance. Norman

I put it on before I start doing the clear gloss lacquer coats (or sometimes after the first coat of clear). That way you can get a few coats of clear over it and then with a little very gentle sanding you can help eliminate the ridges that show up around the decal. you can also use microsol to help with that but I've never done it so others would have to provide input on that.
