The GE came in yesterday and got started on it. It's from '38 and among other things it has very brittle rubber wire. Was happy and surprised the at ballast tube was good. Spent a good bit of time rewiring and replacing parts. Spkr is shot, the vc has an intermittent connection so I'm not sure whether I'll try to fix it or replace. Good thing is it's pm spkr. For now I just have it hooked to a 6"er I had laying around.
